Each pupil is assigned an LSOA, each LSOA contains between 5 and 10 postcodes, where any given pupil is assigned an LSOA we have assigned a weighted point to each of the 5 - 10 assigned postcodes (the weight of the point is assigned by the number of pupils in that LSOA).

With this in mind, if a point on our heat map appears over any individual house, this is not an indication that a child in that house attends the school, or indeed that there are any children in the house who attend, this just happens to be the geographical centre of the postcode).
