About Heatherton House School Nursery
Heatherton House's nursery boasts four distinct rooms, each offering the pupils wonderful, sensory-packed learning zones. It brings Heatherton's Early Years Department - already cited by the Independent Schools Inspectorate as an example of very best practice - to the forefront of learning.
As well as an incredible new home base room complete with a wonderful wooden play frame, a fully equipped IT zone and a separate role play area, the Early Years Department also offers a dedicated creative area for art and craft, sensory and fine motor activities, a 'cosy' room where the girls like to curl up on bean bags and sofas, enjoy books and puppets and participate in circle time, a large, resource-filled Group Activity Room, as well as a wonderful area for cookery.
From September 2015, the school welcomed 3-4-year-old boys into the nursery section of their Early Years Department. Places are limited, so early registration is advised.
