About Gateways School
Gateways School is a highly successful independent school for girls aged two to 18 and boys from two to eleven. In August 2014, the Telegraph named Gateways the 3rd best small independent school in the UK. Gateways School enjoys a rural location in the village of Harewood, conveniently located between Leeds and Harrogate.
Small class sizes and an emphasis on the individual ensures all Gateways pupils are supported to reach their full academic potential. In 2014 GCSE candidates secured an impressive 100% A* - C grades in 5 or more subjects (including Maths and English) and A level candidates achieved 83% A* - B grades as sought by most Russell Group universities.
Gateways maintains a broad curriculum which includes Triple Science at GCSE and subjects such as PE, Drama, Music and Food Technology at GCSE and A level.
In addition to academic success, Gateways prides itself in the education of the whole person and it is well respected for the high level of individual attention it gives to each pupil.
